Hit the Hay is fast-acting and is easily absorbed in liquid form. Most people feel the effects within a few minutes. A second dose can be used one hour later if necessary.*

While we generally steer clear of herbs that are widely contraindicated so that most folks can safely use our products, please note that Hit the Hay does contain kava root, which is intended for short-term use and has some contraindications. Hit the Hay has a larger serving size and a strong taste from the kava. It can be diluted into water, juice, or tea as needed, and is not heat-sensitive.
Yes, all of our products are third-party tested for identity verification, microbial contamination, and heavy metal levels within California Prop 65 limits. All of our products are certified organic and are manufactured in GMP-certified facilities.
Additionally, we do in-house testing for organoleptics and quality control on every batch.
Hit the Hay contains one ingredient which is not commercially available as certified organic, making it certified “made with organic” vs. completely certified organic. As with all of our products that are certified organic, the other ingredients we use are always sourced from certified organic suppliers, whether domestic or global.
